She fell off the treadmill on day one, literally. But Carolina Sicoli –a publicist turned personal trainer, Miami based entrepreneur, and the Argentinian woman behind one of the most engaged fitness apps in the Spanish speaking market–walked back in the next morning with her head held high. That early stubbornness turned out to be the blueprint for everything that followed.
With over 5,000 active members and a community built entirely on trust and technique, Caro Suki –as she’s widely known in the fitness world– didn’t follow the conventional coach to entrepreneur timeline. Her kickoff was Instagram when, during the pandemic, she started sharing her daily training routines. At this point, her followers began treating her as a reference. “They put me in a place I didn’t know I was in yet”, she remembers. “A place of fitness reference. And even though I had a lot of knowledge, because I’d been training with personal trainers since I was young, I didn’t have the title or the paper to sell anything. But my community put me there anyway”.
What set her apart wasn’t just consistency, it was depth: years of training with coaches she admired, traveling the world to learn, obsessively studying her own body. When she finally formalized her credentials, she already knew the material. “Honestly, I already knew everything I was studying. It came very easily to me”, she confess.
The app: depth before reach
This platform was born from a simple but powerful question: how can I become the coach I wish I had? The answer was carosuki.app, a fitness app built around the philosophy of don’t train more, train better.

In there, women get access to programs for every level: Start Up for beginners mastering the fundamentals, Booty Up for glute and core strength, Level Up for intermediate and advanced athletes designed to be repeated year round, and Fit Bump, a prenatal program adapted week by week from week 8 to 40 of pregnancy. There’s also a yoga flow series guided by April May Gardner, plus nutrition guides, meal plans, grocery lists, technique tutorials, and habit guides. And everything has minimal equipment requirements.
But what truly defines the product is the human layer on top of it. “The amount of content in the app is obscene,” she laughs. “But every day of my life I read the messages. I ask members to send me videos. I watch them and give feedback”. At scale, that level of personal engagement is rare, but in her case it’s deliberate.
The entrepreneurial shift
Before fitness, Caro had a career in advertising, demanding, well paid, and all consuming. The leap wasn’t just a professional decision; it was a spring into an unknown universe. “I quit my 9 to 5, the job that paid the same every month, the one that gave you stability to do something else. That was hard. I was in another country, I didn’t know what was going to happen, I didn’t know what I was going to become”, she asserts. And then, the pandemic hit. “We were all in the same boat, because nobody knew what was going to happen. So in a way, I felt accompanied by the rest of the planet”. What came out the other side was, in her words, the job of her dreams.

The shift from coach to founder came when she realized the app wasn’t just a fitness product, but a business where strategy, marketing, pricing, email flows and member retention were on her shoulders. “Suddenly I was the camera, the lighting, the production, the one uploading every single exercise and naming every routine”. The solo founder grind in full effect.
Her days now move between content creation, brand partnerships, and a toddler who doesn’t negotiate. Her focus anchor? A morning walk: “When I walk, I organize my ideas, I get inspired, I fill up with energy. My day starts on the right foot”. No biohacking hacks, just movement, oxygen, and clarity.
On the future of fitness, she’s candid about the rise of shortcuts and the risks they carry, but her real concern is the emotional dimension of the work. “I never thought I’d be in a position of health reference. I’m not a doctor, I’m not a nutritionist. But a woman once wrote to me that I was the only person who got her out of bed to exercise while she was going through cancer treatment. That message changed something in me”, she shares.
For her, that’s the whole point. Fitness was never about aesthetics, it was always about showing up. “Appear every day with whatever you have. If it’s 5%, show up with 5%. If it’s 100%, give 100%. But show up”, she closes. “Because every small step is moving you forward”.
