Carolina Diharce, known as Caro, is not just a personal trainer. She is an ontological coach since 2002, holds studies in sports nutrition, anthropometry, psychology, and biocoding, and has been teaching for over three decades. That background shapes everything about how Con Alegría Fitness Group works. “My work goes far beyond physical training”, she explains. “What I built is a space of integral transformation where the body, the mind, and the emotions are deeply connected”.
Her programs combine strength, resistance, mobility, and power, all oriented toward body recomposition. But the real differentiator is the philosophy behind the method. “No deep physical change can be sustained if a person lives the process at war with themselves”, she says. That conviction led her to build something the fitness industry rarely names out loud: a community where showing up feels good.
Part of that philosophy comes from a very specific idea she carries: the power of wonder. Years ago, on a train, she found herself watching people, young adults, physically strong, but with empty, tired eyes. Then she noticed a child in the crowd. “There was something completely different in him: the light in his eyes. He looked at everything with curiosity and presence, as if the world were still an adventure”. That image stayed with her. “Many times, what ages first is not the body, but the capacity for wonder”, she says. Recovering that capacity, for Caro, is as important as any training program.
The phrase that changed everything
The name Con Alegría Fitness Group has a very specific origin. More than 30 years ago, when Caro was just starting her own training journey, her coach would pick her up at six in the morning, often tired and reluctant. Every single time, before each exercise, he would repeat the same phrase: “Con alegría, Carolina, con alegría.” “That phrase changed me forever”, she recalls. “It shifted my energy, my focus, my attitude, and even the results of my training. And over the years I understood that it worked for much more than fitness”.

From neuroscience, she adds, the evidence supports it. “Everything the brain registers as positive has a much greater chance of being sustained over time. The old idea that you go to the gym to suffer generates rejection, resistance, and dropout. Joy generates neural connection. It makes people want to come back”.
A community that spans the world
Con Alegría Fitness Group operates entirely online, with live classes that reach members across different countries. That global reach, Caro says, still moves her. “Behind every number there are real stories of women who had completely lost confidence in themselves”, she reflects. “Women who were convinced it was too late to change. Seeing them achieve extraordinary transformations, not just physical but emotional, is deeply moving”.

Because the impact, she is clear, goes well beyond the body. When a woman transforms physically, it expands into every area of her life: the way she faces the world, the confidence she brings to her work, the energy she brings to her family, and the respect she has for herself. “My students don’t feel they’re just exercising”, she says. “They feel they are rebuilding a version of themselves they thought was lost”.
For anyone starting out, her philosophy is the same. “Real success doesn’t only happen when you reach the final goal”, she says. “It’s also in the small daily wins. Because any extraordinary transformation always starts with something small”. And it always starts with joy.
