Lluvia: a ritual in a bottle, born from a life rebuilt drop by drop

Daniella Rondon didn't set out to create a product, but a yoga ritual. The results came after years of iteration, and the kind of patience that comes from someone who has learned, more than once, to start over.

Daniella Rondon is Venezuelan, raised in Caracas and Valencia, and has lived in Miami for 17 years. She arrived to study, never planning to stay. “I never thought I would remain”, she says. “My idea was to study and go back to Venezuela”. But life had other plans, and Miami became the place where she rebuilt herself, more than once. “I have lived millions of versions of myself here”, she reflects. “Arriving alone was not easy at all. It was adapting, starting from zero, learning, making mistakes, holding myself together, growing. All of this far from my family and the people close to me”.

Her Instagram handle is dani.citta — citta meaning “mind and consciousness” in Sanskrit. It is the space, she explains, where thoughts, emotions and perception live. Where experience is actually built. “My path, both in yoga and in design, has always been inward”, she says. “Understanding myself, observing myself, transforming myself”. She laughs when she adds that it also sounds a little like “danielita”, and she liked that too.

Today, Daniella is a yoga teacher and a graphic designer specialized in branding. Two passions that, for a long time, lived separately. LLUVIA is where they finally met. A mat and equipment cleanser designed for any fitness activity — yoga, Pilates, gym, and beyond — formulated with plant-based ingredients, including thyme extract, apple cider vinegar, sandalwood, and amber essential oils, and Saccharomyces ferment, a natural bio-derived ingredient that helps balance and reduce unwanted microorganisms while keeping the formula gentle and holistic. But to describe it only as a cleanser would be to miss the point entirely. “I wanted to feel that I was cleaning my energy, my space, my moment”, she explains. “I wanted to create a ritual for before and after the practice. Literally disconnecting to reconnect”.

The idea took three years to become a product. “I doubted myself fifteen hundred times”, she admits, “because I didn’t think that I, as a designer or a yogi, could create a product”. Every detail was designed by her from scratch, including the packaging, which features a small window with a note inside that can be kept as a bookmark or a personal reminder. That detail, she says, was the one she fought hardest for.

Her philosophy runs through everything she does. She defines her practice around the idea of transforming shadows into pleasure, not by avoiding discomfort, but by moving through it with presence and curiosity. “My classes, my way of teaching, even LLUVIA”, she says, “everything is designed to create a space where you can feel, let go, breathe, reconnect”. The experience is sensory and intimate: music, mantras, instruments, candles, movement, scent. “But above all”, she adds, “there is a connection with yourself”.

Entrepreneurship in Miami, she says, has been challenging, especially as an immigrant. But also deeply transformative. “It has forced me to trust myself more, to believe in my ideas, to give them shape”. She laughs when she describes herself as “la resolverdora”, her own word for someone who always finds a way.

At the end of our conversation, Daniella told us that answering our questions had been a meaningful exercise for herself, a way to internalize everything she has walked through. “I just try to keep walking this life with more calm, more love, and always with intention”. That is her sensitivity. That is the sensitivity of Lluvia.
