Harbiz is an app designed for personal trainers and wellness professionals. It centralizes everything a professional needs to run their projects. But Jorge Wolf is quick to point out that the platform’s purpose goes beyond features. The goal isn’t just to digitize tasks, it’s about growing and building something that lasts.
With over 10,000 professionals already on the platform, Harbiz has become one of the leading tools in the Spanish-speaking fitness market, and is now setting its sights on markets like Miami.

The gap it came to fill was visible from the start. The market was full of skilled professionals running their businesses on manual systems, losing hours to logistics instead of focusing on their clients. “The problem wasn’t a lack of passion or knowledge”, Jorge explains, “but the lack of a system that allowed them to operate professionally and grow without losing quality.”
We asked Jorge Wolf about building Harbiz, the challenges of the fitness tech space, and what’s coming for markets like Miami.
— What is Harbiz and what problem did it come to solve?
— Harbiz is the all-in-one app that helps trainers and wellness professionals professionalize, manage, and grow their business in a scalable way. When we started, we saw there was a lot of talent in the sector, but very little structure. Incredible professionals were still managing their business with scattered tools, manual processes, and a lot of time invested in tasks that didn’t add direct value to the client. Harbiz was born to give trainers a solution that allows them to centralize their business, save time, offer a better experience, and transform their knowledge into a modern and profitable company. Because we firmly believe in one idea: talent without a system has a limit.
— How does the app work, and what sets it apart from other solutions that already existed for fitness professionals?
— Harbiz centralizes everything a professional needs: workout programming, progress tracking, client communication, nutrition, payments, automations, and much more. But beyond the features, what really sets us apart is the vision. Harbiz isn’t designed just to “manage clients”, but to help build more efficient, more scalable, and more professional businesses. It’s not just about digitizing tasks, but about changing the way a trainer works, organizes and grows.
— What was the entrepreneurial journey like? What were the main challenges and learnings along the way?
— Entrepreneurship in a sector like this has been a process of a lot of listening, a lot of adaptation, and a lot of speed of execution. One of the biggest challenges at the beginning was evangelizing the market. A few years ago, many professionals still didn’t see digitalization as a strategic necessity, but as something optional. Today that has changed completely: the market understands that professionalizing is no longer a competitive advantage, but a condition for growth.
— How do you see the growth of apps in the fitness industry, and how do you think that will play out in markets like Miami?
— The fitness and wellness industry is entering a much more mature stage, where technology is no longer an extra, but a central piece of the business model. We’re seeing more and more entrepreneurs betting on this sector, but also a more demanding market. Having a social media presence or an attractive proposition is no longer enough; today you need processes, data, automation and a much more carefully crafted client experience. And in markets like Miami this will be even clearer. It’s an environment with a very strong fitness culture, a high level of demand, and very fast technological adoption.
